Hello Dr. Shaw –
As you probably are aware, the Center for Disease Control recently changed its regulations regarding dog imports from both Canada and Mexico and rabies certificates are no longer required.
https://www.cdc.gov/importation/bringing-an-animal-into-the-united-states/dog-origin.html
That said, we do caution pet owners that State requirements may be enforced at the border, and a current rabies vaccination and a health certificate issued within 30 days of travel are strongly recommended
We have not heard of any other recent changes to regulations regarding import to Mexico or Canada; however, we will retain your email in the event that we become aware of any new requirements.
Best regards,
Susan H. Smith
