Medical Marijuana and Your Dog….

Thank you for stopping by…It’s great to have ya 🙂 .  With the legalizing of marijuana in a number of states,  the question begs to be answered, ” Can my canine or feline benefit from medicinal marijuana?” The answer to that question is two-fold.  While there have been some studies done, along with testimonials praising the benefits of marijuana use for pets from the American Veterinary Medical Association  website ( avma.org) a gray area still exists in regard to how much, what type, and etc.  It is to be noted, with the rise of legal marijuana across the country, there has also been an increased number of marijuana toxicity cases, otherwise known as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) overdose.  The signs are various with one being death. So the debate lingers on….with more research studies, im sure we can figure out a way to utilize the benefits without the risks…stay tuned……..until next time my friends
